General
The Headliner HC812VSB from Meinl is a complete, professional sounding conga set for serious beginners. The 11-inch and 12-inch rubber wood drums are fitted with 8mm tension rods that stabilise the tuning of the natural buffalo-hide heads which, when needed, can be adjusted using the included tuning key. As such, this conga set not only has a high-quality build, but incredibly warm sound.
The Meinl HC812VSB: Rounded Rims for Extra Comfort
Due to a combination of professional-level sound and components and beginner-friendly price tags, the Headliner Series is already immensely popular. The HC812VSB congas are fitted with 2.6mm rounded rims for improved playing comfort, even during long sessions, while the included stand can be adjusted for the optimum playing height.
